WELCOME TEAM:

Greeters welcome people into worship on Sunday in person and on Facebook.     

 

CAC PRAYER TEAM:

Our prayer team lifts up prayer requests daily through our Sunday morning prayer journal and email.

 

SOCIAL MEDIA:  

Our content creators gather pictures from people, and they come up with captions for stories and posts!  They also have all the links handy for upcoming events, worship services, and groups.

FACILITIES TEAM:

In order to keep our church sanitized for services, our team cleans before services and events. They also keep up with maintenance on site.

​

MISSION TWENTY FIVE 35:

We partner with Rick & Tammie Romano and their family in the Dominican Republic (C&MA Missionaries) to meet practical needs and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Through faithful giving, going, and praying God is accomplishing much in the lives of those who need our help in the D.R.

THE GREEN MOUNTAINS:

We partner with another team of missionaries in an undisclosed location in the Eastern Europe and Western Asia region to meet spiritual needs, teach English and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Through faithful giving, going, and praying God is accomplishing much in the lives of those who need our help in this area of the world.

CLEANING TEAM:

We truly are a family here at CAC and families get to pitch in together to keep the place clean.  Many hands make light work, so we all pitch in around here to keep our church building clean and tidy.

​

COMMUNITY GARDENS:

Our church property serves as a place for local residents to come and enjoy the benefits of a community garden including master gardener direction and support.

​

MOWING TEAM FOR COMMUNITY GARDENS:

Do you like mowing and trimming grass?  Well, we have just the right fit for you.  The church zero turn mower makes light work of a big mowing job to keep the parsonage and community gardens looking beautiful.

​

PRAYER & SUPPORT FOR CHILDREN'S MINISTRY TEAM

This is a behind the scenes team that provides prayer support for children and parents and offers practical support for the Children's Ministry team such as sending cards, notes of encouragement, or even practical things like helping to gather supplies for an event, etc.

​

SAFETY TEAM:

If you enjoy keeping things safe for everyone and you tend to notice things that could be better, this team comes together to faithfully evaluate our safety needs and implement appropriate changes.

​

COMMUNITY CARE:

Certain life events create the opportunity to step in and provide some extra care when needed.  If you want to be part of a team that helps with weddings, funerals, assisting with meals during a sickness or accident, or helping with practical needs then this team might be just the right fit for you.

​

DOWNTOWN MINISTRY:

We love being downtown and finding creative ways to serve the homeless and those in need by providing "blessing bags", bible studies, transportation to church, and fellowship events including a shared meal, music, games, etc.  It is a chance to build relationships and show some love.  

​

HINESBURG FOOD SHELF:

Another way to serve our community is by directing donations to the food shelf in exchange for CVU student parking here in the church lot.  A special thank you to all of our CVU students and families who give so generously to the food shelf.  We appreciate all the love you share.  

​

KIDS & TEENS:

Help kids and teens feel connected during the week and help with ongoing services and events. Partner with parents to disciple their children and teens -- they're always looking for great ideas!

​

WORSHIP TEAM:

If you sing, play an instrument or enjoy sound boards, lights, and production elements, join the team that leads us in worship each week.  If you'd like to learn how to sing or play an instrument, or run a soundboard or computer projection, we'd love to teach you!
