CAC Children's Ministry

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Matthew 19:14 (NIV)

The Bible tells us clearly that Jesus welcomed children to come to Him. Children were not a second class or a lesser priority to Jesus; He was not too busy dealing with “grown up issues” to take time for them. Today, Jesus continues to have abundant love for children and His message of Good News is for children and adults alike. Therefore, the Children's Ministry Program at CAC exists to provide opportunities for children to know and experience the love that Jesus has for each of them, and to guide them as they develop a strong, lifelong faith and identity in Jesus Christ.

Children are not the sole focus of our Children’s Ministry Program. Most children spend far more time at home with their families during the week than at any church or church program. Therefore, the primary source of discipleship and modeling of the Christian faith ideally would be a child’s family. Our Children’s Program seeks to equip and support families as they disciple, guide and teach their children to walk with and to serve Jesus Christ in everyday life.

Children are an integral and loved part of the CAC family. We consider them to be young, growing disciples, who will one day go on to make other disciples for God's Kingdom!

We can’t wait to welcome you and your children into our family!
